Fuji X-Pro1 and Downtown Kansas City

Saturday I photographed a event for Gail’s Harley Davidson, and the 2013 Spirit Ride held at the National World War One Museum at the Liberty Memorial in downtown Kansas City. The Museum has the best view of the City Skyline, I just had to take a few minutes and capture some images before I left. This is 5 images photo merged in Photoshop. The images are JPEG’s straight out of the camera with no adjustments at all. I love myRead more

X-Pro1 – May Snow Storm

Well we have a saying in Missouri, if your not happy with the weather hang on and it will change. After several days in the 80’s Mother Nature surprised us with rapid temperature drops, sleet, heavy winds and rain then 3 inches of snow. But it happened in May! Last year we had a record number of days above 100 degrees. 2012 started out warmer then normal after a mild winter, followed by over a year of next to noRead more

So far I am quite pleased with the images. In theRead more

Popcorn, a wonderful spicy low fat snack

I have a confession to make, I love salty snacks. Occasionally I will eat something sweet but slat snacks are my delight. Hardly a night goes by and I have some sort of treat before bed. It doesn’t have to be much but it’s become a habit of mine. The problem is much of what I like isn’t healthy for you or your blood pressure for that matter. Salt, I could eat it every day. Unfortunately for me I haveRead more
